Join our team as a key leader in the Operations Division where you'll play a vital role in shaping and maintaining parks, arenas, and community spaces that bring people together. This position oversees the inspection, maintenance, and repair of park spaces, sports fields, sports courts, park amenities, arenas and operations buildings, ensuring they remain safe, functional and welcoming for staff, user groups, and community events. Working closely with internal partners, you'll collaborate on the design and redevelopment of parks and amenities, ensuring operational needs are seamlessly integrated as well as to optimize facility use and enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors.

Five (5) to seven (7) years of managerial experience in a unionized environment along with experience in the functions of collective bargaining, budgeting, building maintenance (as it relates to arenas, workshops within parks, washrooms), parks maintenance, sports field maintenance, special events, emergency and risk management.
This position is located in Band Level 7 of the Non-Union Salary Scale and has an annual salary range of $114,005 to $139,030. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm (35 hours per week), some evening work is required. On-call evenings, weekends, and holidays on a shared schedule with others within the Department.
