This position has overall responsibility for all functions related to cash operations. The incumbent is responsible to manage the proactive delivery of accurate and efficient cash management services and contribute to the successful achievement of both departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

  • Act as Brink's Account Manager: Monthly Cash Forecasts for Woodbine Mohawk Greenwood and WEGZ,

  • Balance all cash processed by Brink's

  • Ensure ATMs are industry compliant. Stay current on industry transaction fees to maximize revenue.

  • Lead investigations regarding cash discrepancies with the Recyclers and Brink's Treasury Reports and determine the most appropriate corrective action.

  • Researches and recommends expense budgets and ensures adherence

  • Ensures that all money related reports regarding accounting and payroll are accurate.

  • Leads investigations regarding cash discrepancies with our automated for all frontline employees using recyclers and determines the most appropriate corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in a related field (Business Management)

  • Strong management experience

  • Accounting Designation would be an asset.

  • History working the Banking at a Management or higher level would be an asset.

  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced leadership and management skills

  • Advanced investigation skills

  • Aptitude for numbers with attention to detail

  • Good process improvement skills

  • Advanced bookkeeping and accounting transactional skills
