What is the Opportunity?

The Director of Creditor and Travel Insurance Products, plays a pivotal role for the organization as we re-imagine our products and the value they provide to meet today's client needs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the product vision/strategy for a number of products and preparing executive level communications for several stakeholder groups. You will also be responsible for leading the execution of the strategy, defining success measures and reporting on progress against those measures.

What will you do?

  • Develop, design and refine a comprehensive and industry leading product strategy/vision ensuring alignment with our business goals and client needs.
  • Effectively convey/communicate the product strategy to all stakeholders, and interested parties.
  • Collaborate and liaise with key internal and external business partners and stakeholders as you develop the business strategy to ensure it can be flawlessly executed.
  • Develop business cases, road maps and OKRs to support initiatives that underpin the strategy to articulate associated benefits such as business growth and client experience.
  • Ability to manage complex business issues and recommend/implement solutions.
  • Act as business lead on project teams in a manner which accelerates development, achieves expected outcomes and optimizes delivery.
  • Develop consistent metrics for a group of products and their rationale for measuring success of the solutions, as well as the reporting methodology to track value realization.
  • End to end management of all products under your purview.
  • Responsible for making decisions on any product related issues that may arise. Understand root cause and work with relevant stakeholders to correct. These issues may be identified by clients, operations or sales.
  • Evaluate business value achieved versus plan for the product and communicating outcomes to leadership & stakeholders
  • Lead, manage, and develop your team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment that empowers team members to excel and grow.
  • Establish effective partnerships across the organization.

What will you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • 2+ years of experience in a Banking or Insurance Product Management/Development leadership role with demonstrated experience with brining new products to market and managing the entire Product lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of relevant progressive business experience preferably within the financial services industry or insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and thought leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire support up to and including executive level stakeholders.
  • Proficient with MS office tools, particularly powerpoint and excel.
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
  • Excellent collaborator.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise in Creditor and Travel insurance products.
  • BA or MBA in Business or related field
