The job involves:

• Supervising staff with regard to training, work assignments, scheduling, and administrative functions
• Strong understanding of all aspects of the EVS Department
• Conducting pre shifts, controlling inventory and preparing shift reports
• Promoting a safe and hazard free work environment
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties

• Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Demonstrated leadership, management and team building skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision making skills
• Proven organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strict attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of WHMIS and Health and Safety Act
• Ability to work in all Microsoft Office programs and Kronos scheduling system
