The job involves:

• Receiving and processing new and used laundry stock
• Sorting laundry, loading and unloading washers and dryers
• Feeding laundry into folding machines, collecting and storing clean linens
• Working with laundry cleaning chemicals and assorted fabric types
• Working in warm and humid conditions
• Handling soiled linens
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, move equipment and other items up to 50 pounds as needed
• Adjusting quickly to change on the job, moving from task to task
• Following instructions concerning machine operations
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• 3 - 6 months experience in a high volume, fast paced laundry environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of WHMIS and the ability to follow health and safety guidelines
• The ability to successfully pass physical pre-placement assessment
