Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve tasty recipes following recipe standards
Consistently follow task lists and quality standards
Label, package and handle product selection
Receive and rotate products into inventory
Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure that all Health and Safety standards are met
Ensure compliance of all food handling requirements and standards
Communicate effectively with others regarding all aspects of menu planning, food preparation and execution
Must-Haves:
Knife skills or previous experience in a kitchen
Minimum 3-4 years of Line/Prep Cook experience
Food Handler Certification is an asset
Experience with kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, stoves, etc.)
Familiar with sanitation and health and safety food regulations including proper handling of equipment
Work well under pressure independently
Proven leadership abilities
Strong communication skills - oral and written
Excellent time management and organization skills
