Hours of Work: Variable - Monday through Sunday, days and evenings (closed Tuesdays) - Holidays, as required
Location: Orono, Ontario
Reporting to: Food Services Supervisor and Food Services Manager
Start Date: December 2024 (Training may begin November 2024)

We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-focused team members to help us turn everyday visits into wonderful winter memories.


As part of our Food Services team, you will take an important role in creating unforgettable customer experiences, as well as defining the culture of our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming all guests and sharing your knowledge about the resort
  • Delivering fast, accurate and friendly service to all customers
  • Maintaining operational & kitchen areas including restocking workstations and prep work
  • Ensuring high-level customer service, following all critical standards for food service and preparation and exceeding customer expectations for cleanliness, comfort, convenience & quality
  • Delivering support in the prevention/resolution of customer issues
  • Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed


Qualifications:

  • 15 years of age or older
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player
  • Experience in a high volume food service environment preferred, but not required
  • Valid Ontario-approved Food Handlers Certificate is an asset, but not required

Hiring Timeline:

  • Intermittent paid training will be scheduled prior to your first regular shift.
  • Regular hours will begin December or January, dependant on weather, start up and agreed upon availability of applicant.
