Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to develop and maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of adult leagues as well as to manage league and intramural operations.

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
• Knowledge of organized recreation sports leagues, market trends, and customer service
• Knowledge of recreation and athletics policies and procedures
• Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
• Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
• Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context
• Knowledge of supervisory practices

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management or related discipline
• Minimum of four years of previous progressive recreation program development and delivery experience including 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience
