What would my role be?

Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development & Employee Engagement, you will work collaboratively with leaders at all levels of the organization to foster a culture of growth and learning, optimize leadership impact and achieve strategic and operational goals. You will also:

  • Assist in the design, implementation and application of an integrated talent management system, including strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, and succession planning, embedding a positive, growth-orientation to all practices across the employee lifecycle.
  • Support organizational learning and leader development through the design and delivery of educational programs and mentorship programs, as well as leader coaching for new habit formation.
  • Act as a trusted thinking partner to leaders related to strategy deployment, change management, continuous performance improvement and employee engagement.
  • Foster a positive and healthy workplace through norm-setting exercises as well as team building and conflict resolution activities.
  • Facilitate process improvement projects to achieve improved performance.

How do I qualify?

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Health Administration, Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Psychology, Human Systems, Business Administration, Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a hospital or long-term care setting.
  • Experience in instructional design, adult learning, group facilitation, team building, and leadership development.
  • Experience in program design, cultural transformation, process improvement and change leadership.
  • Experience designing and or organizing programs and events
  • Experience managing complex projects end to end
  • Experience analyzing and reporting on large data sets and creating compelling data visualization
  • Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)

Preferred:

  • Certifications in Coaching, LEAN, Six Sigma Green Belt or other quality and process improvement methodology, Prosci Change Management, Just Culture, Psychometric Assessment (i.e. SDI Core Strengths, Personalysis, Tilt, DISC, etc.), Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Articulate e-Learning Suite (specifically Storyline)

  • Expertise in organizational development theories and familiarity with the elements of an integrated talent management system.

  • Superior applied knowledge of adult learning principles with considerable experience in instructional design.
  • Ability to design, implement and manage large-scale programs with high visibility.
  • Demonstration of well-developed group facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and implementation skills based on research into practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage and influence people at all levels of the organization and to balance and integrate multiple perspectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess organizational development and learning needs and design, implement, deliver and evaluate programs.
  • Demonstration of an unfailing commitment to a client-centered approach and service excellence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, and work collaboratively with others to co-create solutions that are responsive and respectful of diverse stakeholder needs and perspectives.
