What would my role be?
Reporting to the Coordinator, Patient Menus and the Manager, Nutrition and Food Services, you will be responsible for:
- the verification of individual patients' menus according to the therapeutic needs.
- updating patient nourishments.
- maintaining current computer patient database and related meal patterns.
- interacting with patients, families, Clinical Dietitians, Nursing and Food Service staff as necessary.
How do I qualify?
Required:
- Two (2) year Community College Diploma in Food Services and Nutrition Management or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum of six (6) months of relevant Food Service and Nutrition experience
- Membership in CSNM (Canadian Society of Nutrition Management) - national association
Preferred:
- Fluent in French and English
What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?
- Intermediate Computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
