Position Description
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the full range of food and beverage operations during year-round activities, including a restaurant, dining room, banquet rooms, a halfway hut, and curling lounge. They will ensure that the quality, quantity, and presentation of all food and beverages meet the highest standards for freshness, appearance, and consistency, along with planning, developing, and implementing menus and beverage lists. You have a passion for food. You strive to exceed expectations for service excellence with a demonstrated understanding of high-quality dining, wine, beverage and service standards commensurate with delivering a superior client and member experience. You will lead and maintain a positive working environment based on excellence, discipline, learning and development, teamwork, respect, and having fun. This role will also be responsible for the purchase of all food and beverage-related items and equipment and budget management.

Qualifications Required
Highly visible and interactive, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated depth of experience in food and beverage management and supervision that comes from a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity. You will possess exceptional service style with a genuinely warm presence, a friendly and sincere nature and a drive for service excellence. You will also possess proven abilities to supervise and motivate people and build strong working relationships in a team environment. A post-secondary diploma from a recognized hospitality or culinary school would be a minimum requirement. Labour relations experience would be a valued asset. The successful candidate would be expected to have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as superior organizational abilities that align with an advanced and progressive understanding of professional food and beverage operations. You are adept at juggling multiple needs, and able to be flexible to a changing and often dynamic schedule.
