Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Manager, Grounds & Moving Services, this job is responsible for grounds maintenance and other related activities

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
• Entry level skills in maintenance and repair procedures including preventive maintenance, breakdown repair and trouble-shooting
• Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job function.
• Ability to read and interpret documents related to job function
• Ability to effectively work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to follow through and carry out assignments
• Knowledge of FMP policies and procedures
• Ability to read and write English

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent. Required to have a valid Ontario Class G driver's License or Quebec equivalent
• The job requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
