The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $105,000

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversees shop facilities and service operations by ensuring operational requirements are met by supervising, coordinating and scheduling the activities of trades people. Prepares service quotes for both internal and external customers.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities include supporting and developing staff by providing or arranging training on assigned tasks and tracking their training. Review schedules to ensure trades people are allocated correctly and each department has the support they require.
  • Customer Service is provided by assisting customers with service information and resolving service problems by providing solutions and following up to ensure resolution. Serves as a back up to the Service Manager with the customer.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician, Journeyperson and at least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within an industrial environment. Additional qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of construction/mining equipment.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and influence outcomes.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
