POSITION SUMMARY

Realstar is seeking a Licensed Condominium Manager on a full-time basis to lead the management of new condominium management services company with several properties across Ontario. This role will involve working with head office and on-site employees to manage the operational and administrative aspects of the properties. The Condominium Manager will act as a liaison between the rental properties and the Condominium Board of Directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Vice President, Finance, handle the day-to-day operations of the condo corporation.
  • Liaise with the condominium Board of Directors on behalf of the rental property
  • Train and manage site and head office employees as required.
  • Liaise with the District Manager to ensure ands-on day-to-day management of operations for a group of residential building managers, superintendents and support staff to ensure both operational standards of the building and corporate objectives are met and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario condominium laws, employment and labour standards, labour relations and occupational health and safety acts, and human rights codes
  • Work closely with Property Managers to train and develop staff and to identify high-potential performers.
  • Participate in the development of budgets to achieve income/expense targets
  • Maintain condo corporation records and provide management information reports on property performance
  • In conjunction with the District Manager and Construction Manager, provide recommendations for capital improvements for properties to ensure the physical assets are maintained
  • Issue meeting notices and organize board or owner meetings
  • Enforce the condo corporation's bylaws

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Ontario General Condominium Manager License
  • A University degree is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years strong property management and customer service skills
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of multi-residential properties
  • Superior problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines and time requirements
  • Ability to utilize and follow established procedures to accomplish operational objectives and management reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
