Aramark is recruiting for a Patient Food Service Admin Supervisor to assist with overseeing Patient Food Service at Humber River Finch RCC
The Patient Food Service Supervisor plans, administers, directs, and manages food production, food assembly, patient meal trays and ware washing while complying with the standards established by Aramark,
regulatory agencies, and client. The Patient Food Service Supervisor establishes and maintains effective
working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients.

  • Delivers operational performance by executing food services in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Supervises hourly staff, trains and manages the performance of the dietary aides regarding food production, presentation, and meal trays in accordance with service schedules
  • Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
  • Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting equipment and systems utilized for food production
  • Responsible to monitor call-ins for absent staff and replace as required, update schedules accordingly
  • Perform and participate in periodic Quality Assurance audits
  • Ability to engage, motivate and lead the team, resolve conflicts and work collaboratively to achieve departmental goals
  • Experience working within and supervising unionized staff is an asset
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate requirements, priorities, and solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Controls the labor costs by supervising daily staffing levels as needed while driving efficiency from all staff.
  • Retains control of production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.
  • Audits service and quality on a regular basis.
  • Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily.

Qualifications

  • Must have relevant experience.

  • Current Certifications as needed

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
