Casual positions are currently available in the Event Services Department for Casual Housepersons, who will report to the Event Services Management Team.
Job Description
Responsibilities include setting up and taking down furniture such as tables and chairs, and heavy equipment such as staging and dance floors in various configurations for meetings and events. Cleaning and maintaining Event Services equipment and areas. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor as per client needs.
Heavy lifting and strenuous activity involved. Previous experience in a similar environment dealing with large functions/shows is desirable, as is training in proper lifting techniques and forklift operation.
Job Skills and Requirements
Candidates must have a positive attitude, take initiative in day to day responsibilities, have good verbal communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Candidates are required to have their own safety shoes.
This is a casual hourly position including evening and midnight shifts during weekdays and weekends.
