Job Summary:

We are seeking a Marketing Associate - Events to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This role plays a key part in strengthening CSA Group's presence at trade shows and industry events, ultimately raising awareness of our work in contributing to a safer world.

The Marketing Associate will support the development and execution of event marketing strategies, working cross-functionally and support multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful programs that align with CSA Group's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and execution of CSA Group's event marketing strategy, including trade show participation across various topics and industries.

  • Assists in creating marketing and event collateral, such as digital ads and onsite materials.

  • Manages logistics, including booth coordination, ordering promotional items, handling collateral printing, and shipping

  • Manages sponsorships from contracts and registrations, to execution

  • Monitors and analyzes marketing performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution

  • Manages event budgets

  • Manages multiple events and projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and objectives in a fast-paced environment

  • Business travel up to 10-20%/year for company/regional meetings, conferences, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • College/university degree in business administration, marketing, communications or equivalent experience in an events or marketing department

  • 1-2 years of events marketing experience

  • Brand Management knowledge

  • Consumer insight and judgement

  • Digital Marketing experience is an asset

  • Managing and coordinating general marketing department tasks, projects, campaigns and events from beginning to end

  • Asserts a point of view, builds shared interest and mobilizes others to take action

Skills:

  • Excellent time management and analytical skills

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and direction.

  • Collaborative team skills within a fast-paced work environment

  • Computer proficiency in various software applications (Microsoft Word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, photo/image software and the internet)

  • Critical thinking, decision-making, and results-oriented focus

  • Positive outlook, self-motivated, high-energy, curiosity and initiative within role and overall business

  • Detail-oriented
