AIR INUIT - CORPORATE PROFILE

Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled and charter air transportation and emergency services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik through Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 37 aircraft and employs approximately 1,100 employees in one of the most demanding flying environments in the world.

Air Inuit's management and team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing the company's mission by providing safe, punctual and courteous air service to the population living and doing business in the beautiful Nunavik region of northern Quebec.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Wash, cut, and carry out basic preparations of food;
  • Storing food;
  • Store and store cleaning and packaging products;
  • Deliver meals between the employee residence and the airport;
  • Clean and store dishes;
  • Wash and store pots and kitchen equipment;
  • Clean food preparation surfaces and storage areas;
  • Sweep and wash floors;
  • Remove garbage and garbage and empty garbage cans;
  • Perform any other tasks necessary and required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional bilingual French/English, Inuktituk an asset;
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of various meals for 20 to 55 people;
  • Be punctual, autonomous, organized and reliable;
  • The candidate is willing to work on an atypical schedule;
  • Able to accept and adapt to the unexpected;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • The candidate will be considered as having no specific base and will travel through Nunavik;
  • Be able to lift occasional heavy loads (maximum 50 pounds);
  • Holder of a valid driver's license.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Rotational position - 3 weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave

Transportation from Montreal, board and lodging included

REMUNERATION

Compensation and benefits are determined according to corporate policy.

Annual salary starting at $39 643.
