Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members' peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
Answer service calls as per tenants' requests
Perform various carpentry work in buildings
Perform any other related tasks
Experience and Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma
Valid journeyman competency card in Carpentry recognized by the CCQ (Commission de la construction du Québec) or the RBQ (Régie du bâtiment du Québec)
5 years of experience as a general maintenance carpenter
Technical Requirements:
Valid driver license, class 5 and access to a car at time of hiring
Knowledge of French both verbal and written
Non-Technical Requirements:
Good knowledge of all carpentry codes
Capacity to work and perform tasks according to best practices and established procedures in an autonomous manner
Capacity to evaluate and control work hazards and take necessary precautions
