The primary purpose of the position is to maintain excellent standards, to ensure guest satisfaction with prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional service to all Canad Inns guests at all times. It is your role as a manager for all supporting in all aspects of operations including financial performance through meeting and exceeding revenue goals, training, and development of all departments in your area, and exceptional guest satisfaction reviews. Any individual holding a position at this level in the Canad Inns family must always and in all aspects of their responsibilities be committed to strive for the very highest customer service standards, always be proactively looking for more sales while ever searching for innovative methods of controlling costs.
Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and coordinating training of all waterpark employees, including retraining of existing employees to meet standards
  • Provide supervision of the facility, and personnel in all departments in your supervision
  • Responsible and accountable for all equipment, performing inventories in a timely manner, making sure all equipment is always up to date and ready for use
  • Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff on a regular basis
  • Provide support and analysis of operational requirements
  • Develops and implements processes, procedures, checklists, and standards for assigned departments which support the achievement of service goals
  • Ensure smooth operation of the property by maintaining adequate stock of all necessary office and restaurant supplies
  • Uphold and hold accountable all employees to the Canad Inns Code of Conduct
  • Work directly with the Food and Beverage Manager and department to ensure proper training, proper stocking of all food items, and development or implementation of all menu changes
  • Develop and implementation of all standards for state and local laws and regulations related to lifeguards, training, pool safety, pool care, and pool maintenance

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years hospitality experience as a Manager or Manager-in-Training
  • Post-secondary designation in Hospitality management or a related discipline considered an asset
  • Lifeguard Certification, CPR, First Aid, AED Certification
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and skills.
  • Strong budgetary, projections and cost control skills.
