This position performs a variety of cleaning and minor maintenance duties in the buildings and grounds of government schools. This position normally works in a school where there is a Senior Custodial supervisor on site.

Essential Qualifications
• Recent custodial experience
• Experience with heavy maintenance equipment (such as, a floor scrubber, floor polisher)
• Experience performing both light and heavy cleaning duties in a school or large multi- use buildings.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.

• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and workload
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

• Experience with facility maintenance needs and safety issues
Additional information
Conditions of Employment:
Obtain and maintain a valid R.C.M.P. Vulnerable Sector Check, Valid Class 5 driver’s license, WHMIS Certificate (within 3 months of hire)
